My name is Josh Young and I am the current head coach the Eastside Lions High School Rugby Club in Bellevue, WA. I have played stints with the Eastside Axemen, Valley Roos and Tacoma Nomads, but spent my best days playing hooker at Washington State University. I started playing rugby at the age of 15, for my local high school club, Kitsap.
I am a certified level 1 by USA Rugby and certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA).
My three core values are: Have fun. Be positive. Give everything.
In addition to coaching, I Chair the Youth Rugby Committee for Rugby Washington.
I currently live in Seattle, WA with my wife and hope to continue growing rugby in the area.
